Qualification /Requirements:  The teacher will meet professional certification standards as set by state certification authorities.

Steelville elementary is seeking an elementary teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Openings specific to kindergarten. 

Essential job duties:

• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
• Designs and implements lesson plans that are rigorous and aligned to the Missouri state standards 
• Evaluates and progress monitors students’ progress on a regular basis.
• Communicates effectively with all stakeholders
• Active participant in the PLC process within the school
• Adheres to all state and federal requirements within the IDEA and 504 plans
• Other duties assigned by building principal or other administrative team members
• Steelville R-3 will operate on a 4 day school week.
