Steelville R-3 School district is in search of a secondary guidance counselor for the 2025-2026 school year.  Duties include working alongside other building counselors, teaching classroom lessons, provide individual and small group counseling, assist with district testing, analyzing data, and assist with other duties assigned.  A background in PLC is also recommended.

Steelville R-3 currently utilizes a 4 day school week.

Qualifications:

• Missouri Counselor Teaching Certificate, required
• Job related experience is preferred
• Teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrated success in mediation and relationship building
• Knowledge of Missouri guidance standards
